It is with heavy hearts, our beloved brother and uncle, Walter A. Stanford Jr, 92, of Butler, departed this world on Monday, August 31, 2026. Walter was born in Sharon, PA on August 31, 1934, to the late Walter A. and Mary (Kukosh) Stanford.
Walter honorably served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for LV Steel and Washington Manor as an Administrator. He was known for being a big sports fan and an animal lover.
Walter is survived by his two sisters, Ginger (John) Wolfe and Faye (Larry) Keehn; he is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara and Beverly and his brothers, Charles and Steven.
