The holiday travel period kicks off tomorrow and the Turnpike is expecting a pickup in traffic.
Turnpike officials project 2.9 million drivers will use the Turnpike starting tomorrow through Monday.
The busiest travel day is expected to be Friday, with an estimated 725,000 travelers.
All construction projects will stop Thursday at 3 p.m. until Monday night.
