Governor Josh Shapiro is touting a growing outdoor recreation industry.
The Office of Outdoor Recreation began three years ago under Shapiro, and the office says the outdoor industry has grown by over 20 percent.
They cite 12,000 additional jobs and higher wages.
The office also cited data that says the outdoor recreation industry had over $20 billion in economic impact in 2024.
Locally, Experience Butler County says places like Moraine State Park have a big impact on the local economy.
