Cranberry Township Police are getting ready to unveil a new program to help those who find interactions with law enforcement stressful.
The Blue Envelope program is designed to help those with autism or other communication barriers prepare in advance by organizing important information like drivers license, registration, and proof of insurance in one place.
This program will be officially rolled out Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the Cranberry Township Municipal Building.
In addition to police, attendees at this event are expected to include officials from Cranberry EMS and VFC, Seneca Valley School District, The Autism Care Center, and Rock the Spectrum Butler County.
