The county’s dog law enforcement officer is ramping up efforts to get dogs licensed this week.
The office says they will be doing targeted dog license canvassing this Wednesday in Butler Township.
Owners of unlicensed dogs may be cited and fined up to $500 per dog.
Licenses are available online or in the county government center, inside the treasurer’s office.
