As lawmakers are getting back to work in Harrisburg several new bills are being proposed.
Another attempt to pass open primaries in Pennsylvania passed through the house mostly along party lines. Open primaries would allow non-affiliated voters to vote in democratic or republican primaries.
One bill requires “junk mail” to clearly identify as solicitation mail instead of attempting to mislead someone into thinking important information is inside.
A bill that would ban all license plate obstruction devices has passed through the state house with bipartisan support.
Finally, a bill that would require age verification to use internet pornography will soon receive a vote on the house floor after passing in committee with bipartisan support.
