The Steelers have agreed to trade cornerback Joey Porter, Jr. to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a second-round draft pick in 2028 and a sixth-round pick in 2027. Porter was a second-round draft pick out of Penn State in the 2023 NFL draft. He started 41 games for the Steelers and had three interceptions over his three seasons.
Despite being currently under contract, he was seeking an extension prior to his rookie contract expiring and had not played this season.
