The Cleveland Browns defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-24 last night in the NFL Thursday Night Football game. It was their fifth straight loss in Cleveland. Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson led the Browns on a go-ahead drive for the third consecutive week as he moved Cleveland into position for a game-winning 56-yard field goal with 10 seconds remaining in the game. After Cleveland built a 21-10 lead through three quarters, the Steelers scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and Aaron Rodgers ran for a two-point conversion to tie the game with just under two minutes remaining.
Rodgers threw for 299 yards and three touchdowns, but was picked off twice and was sacked five times. Rodgers threw for 154 of those yards in the final quarter. Watson threw for 268 yards with one touchdown an interception and a fumble. The Steelers also could not take advantage of 14 Cleveland penalties.
The Steelers will host Indianapolis Sunday, October 11th.
Meanwhile former Steelers defensive back Joey Porter, Jr. arrived in Dallas Thursday, practiced with the Cowboys and is hopeful to play Sunday when Dallas plays Houston.
