State police are ramping up efforts to target drivers with unpaid tolls.
Police are launching another statewide toll enforcement initiative this month. They are targeting drivers who have suspended registrations due to unpaid tolls.
Police did the same effort in April, which netted 23 drivers who owed more than $130,000 in tolls. There was even one driver who had over $100,000 in unpaid tolls.
Drivers who owe more than $250 are referred to the Department of Transportation to have their registration suspended.
