Concrete repairs will get underway this week on a stretch of road in Lancaster and Jackson Townships.
PennDOT officials say beginning Tuesday and continuing until October 30th, a portion of East Lancaster Road will be closed to allow for crews to repair concrete under Interstate 79 South. Motorists will be able to use a detour to Route 19, Little Creek/Yellow Creek Road then back onto East Lancaster Road.
Also, work will continue on a stretch of Evans City Road in Forward Township through Wednesday between Old Route 68 and Ash Stop Road as crews finish bridge deck patching and pipe repairs. Flaggers will direct lane closures in place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
