The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is now offering over $400,000 for projects for environmental education.
Applications will be accepted from schools, businesses, and non-profit organizations through November 13th for grants that will help residents better understand and protect the environment.
A free Environmental Education Grant Program webinar will be held on Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. to provide more information and instructions in completing application forms. The registration deadline date for the webinar is tomorrow (Monday).
Grants can range from $5,000 to $65,000 depending on size and county impact. The funding for these projects will be dispersed by reimbursement and must be implemented July 1st, 2027 to June 30th, 2028.
