Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate has once again dropped and it is now at its lowest in three years.
The numbers from the Department of Labor and Industry show the September unemployment rate at 3.6 percent—which is the lowest since the summer of 2023.
That number is down one-tenth a percent from August.
Meanwhile, that number is also down from September 2025, which was 4.4 percent.
The largest job gains were in education and health services.
