Police have placed a Butler man in prison after he allegedly threatened to blow up a Center Township home with people inside.
The incident happened Wednesday morning on the 100 block of McKain Lane.
According to charging documents, 68-year-old Brian McKain got into a verbal argument with one of the victims in the home. After McKain threatened to fight the victim, another person in the home separated the two.
However, McKain got into an argument once again, leading the victims to call police. That is when it’s alleged McKain threatened to get a gun and shoot everyone in the home.
A third victim in the home reported to police they saw McKain with a black powder and a torch threatening to blow up the home.
McKain was charged with three counts of terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, and simple assault.
His bail was set at $75,000 and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for November 3.
