Butler County Community College is celebrating the success of their annual golf outing, which once again raised six figures.
The 31st annual BC3 Education Foundation golf outing was held earlier this month at Olde Stonewall Golf Club and raised $109,000.
Among 30 teams and 120 participants, the team from First National Bank finished with a 16 under 54 in the scramble format to achieve three consecutive titles.
Since the golfing outing’s inaugural year in 1996—the annual fundraiser has raised nearly $1.7 million. The proceeds are used to fund adult literacy, addiction recovery, financial programs, food security and other BC3 initiatives.
