Students at a local school district are again observing Red Ribbon Week with a variety of theme days.
Red Ribbon Week begins Monday and runs through Friday in the Mars Area School District.
Students at Mars Area schools will be wearing pajamas tomorrow with the theme of “Your Choices are the Key to Your Dreams”.
Other theme days include wearing tie dye on Tuesday, Be The Kind Kid clothing Wednesday, Halloween colors on Thursday, and workout or sweat clothes on Friday.
Red Ribbon Week is an annual drug and alcohol prevention awareness campaign sponsored by the National Family Partnership.
The Mars Area Centennial School is also collecting donations of belts and decorative pillows for a STEAM-inspired library project.
