A Butler County company is only allowed to open one dispensary in Butler County but they do have plans to open another in neighboring Allegheny County.
“We’re allowed to open up to three dispensaries. We have another location selected on Penn Avenue in the Strip District down in Pittsburgh that we signed the lease on and we anticipate opening another dispensary at that location as well.”
Kent Hartley is part owner of Cresco Yeltrah who last month was awarded a grow and processor permit for a facility in Jefferson County as well as a dispensary permit for a facility in downtown Butler.
Hartley went on to say that the Butler facility will not only distribute medical marijuana grown in Cresco Yelthrah’s Jefferson County facility but also the full product line and all the strains grown across the state.
“We won’t just sell our products. We will also sell competitive grow product from other growers and processors in the state. It’s the best way to make sure that the patients have the exact medicine that they need to help their specific condition so we’ll be offering a full range of products.”
Other companies approved for a primary dispensary location in another county are planning to operate a secondary location in Butler County. Those include:
-Keystone Relief Center in Jackson Township
-The Healing Center on Executive Drive in Cranberry Township
-Keystone Integrated Care on Route 19 in Cranberry Township
