Organizers say 15,000 people attended the annual summer Regatta at Moraine State Park’s Lake Arthur last weekend.
A big attraction was a new event this year, DockDogs, which featured dogs jumping off a dock into the water. There were also standup paddle board competitions and mini cruises on the lake.
This was the 19th year for the Regatta.
“(The event) once again showcased the many outdoor recreational opportunities that Moraine State Park has to offer to thousands of our visitors over a beautiful weekend,” Dustin Drew, park manager for Moraine State Park, said. “With amazing live entertainment and vendors, the event reached out to highlight the communities around the park as well, all at low to no cost and a family-friendly atmosphere.”
