Connoquenessing Elementary school has a new acting principal.
Crystal Ross was named to the temporary position by the Butler School Board for the 2017-18 school year.
Ross was previously a professional employee with the district and an agreement with the Butler Education Association will allow her to maintain her bargaining unit seniority then return back next year.
Incoming Superintendent Dr. Brian White will be involved with the hiring process for a permanent replacement.
The position opened when previous Connoquenessing Principal Tim Sisinni chose to retire.
