The Peoples Eat, Drink, Help program has benefited another local nonprofit.
A $2,000 check from Peoples was presented Tuesday to Life Choices at Ippie’s ice cream and frozen yogurt off Bonniebrook Road. Life Choices is pregnancy care center with locations in Butler and Kittanning.
The Eat, Drink, Help program supports local businesses, while at the same time benefitting local charities and nonprofits. Peoples Natural Gas partners with a business, and that business chooses a local charity to support.
Peoples has decided to expand their program to allow for a variety of local small businesses to help non-profit organizations all over our area. Peoples is currently partnering with Burger Hut I and II, Cummings Coffee and Candy, and Tani’s Pizza to raise money for the Butler County Emergency Relief Initiative or BERI that will benefit the victims of last month’s flooding.
