There is still time to register for Hunter and Trapper Education courses around the Butler County area.
The first of these classes will be held this Saturday, Sept. 9 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at St Paul Lutheran Church in Zelienople. Additional classes will be held September 26th and 27th at the Moraine Sportsman’s Club, October 21st at the Marion Township Fire and Social Hall, November 7th and 8th at Jennings Environmental Education Center, and November 18th at the Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club.
These free classes will be taught by Pennsylvania Game Commission instructors. Online registration through the Game Commission’s website is recommended.
All first time hunters seeking to purchase a hunting license must successfully complete a hunter education course.
