Helen L Sefton, 94, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in the loving care of her family and the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born December 30, 1922 in Grove City, the daughter of the late Morris Alexander and Sarah (Shoaf) McWilliams.
She was of the Methodist Faith. She had worked at Butler Packing as a bookkeeper for 30 years. She enjoyed fishing, reading and cooking. Helen was a avid Steeler fan, waving her “terrible towel.” She always cared about everyone else, neglecting herself.
She will be sadly missed by her nieces and their husbands, Dona and Dick Madison and Sharon and Bob Ordy, all of Butler and her nephew, David Sankey of Erie and many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Calvin and Richard McWilliams and her sister, Virginia Sankey.
Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Thursday, September 21st from 5 PMuntil the time of the service at 7 PM with Rev. Barbara Stoehr of First United Methodist Church officiating.
Private burial in the Woodland Cemetery, Grove City.
