Terry M. Capella, 68, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 23, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.
He was born November 22, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Joseph F. Capella and the late Grace Kriess Neely Capella.
Terry was a 1966 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. He then attended Community College of Allegheny County. Terry went on to work for the PA Forestry Dept., Chef Master, Master Tech Alarms, and as a Clerk at the VA Medical Center before retiring in 1994. He served in the US Marine Corps. and was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal. Terry was past Commander of DAV Chapter 64. He enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing, metal detecting, and watching American Pickers and Pawn Stars.
He is survived by his wife Roberta, whom he married on July 2, 1981; two sons, Jarrod L. Capella of Butler, PA, and Ben C. Capella of Butler, PA; one step-son, Shawn P. Stokes and his wife Kate Marquis of Fairfax, VA; aunt, Mary McCarty of Phoenix, AZ; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
As per his wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
