Allan I. “Bud” Daum, 93, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
He was born March 19, 1924 in Clarion County, PA, the son of the late Warren W. and Gladys (Mong) Daum.
Bud had been in sales for Butler Packing Company and Nationwide Insurance. He was an announcer at Lernerville Speedway and a radio personality for WISR. He was past exalted ruler for the Butler Elks and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Bud enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and anything racing.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, June (Simpson) Daum of Butler; daughter, Michele Hoobs of Butler; son, Warren (Darby) Daum of Butler; 3 grandchildren, Christopher Hoobs and A.J. Daum both of Butler and Jaimie Daum of Ft. Collins CO; sister, Ruth Wagner of Oil City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8PM.
Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Dr., Butler, on Saturday, October 28th at 10AM with his pastor, Rev. Joel Benson officiating.
Interment in the Venus Cemetery, Clarion County.
