Police are investigating a serious accident involving a pedestrian in Mercer County Thursday morning.
According to Grove City Police, an unnamed 59-year-old woman was stuck by a passenger car driven by a 92-year-old woman just before noon in front of the Kwik-Fill on North Broad Street.
The pedestrian was taken from the scene by ambulance to Grove City Medical Center where she was then flown to a hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment of serious injuries. Her condition is unknown at this time.
This accident remains under investigation.
