The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Calgary Flames 4-3 in overtime last night at PPG Paints Arena. Defenseman Justin Schultz scored the game-winning goal for the Pens, who blew an early 2-0 lead. Evgeni Malkin netted his 37th goal of the season in the game. Goaltender Tristan Jarry stopped 35 of 38 shots.
The victory moved the Pens into second place in the Metropolitan Division, one point behind first-place Washington. The Pens have 15 regular season games remaining. They visit the third-place Philadelphia Flyers tomorrow night.
