Dollie J. Krick, 86, of Butler, died Sunday morning, May 6, 2018 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.
Born September 29, 1931 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late George Soose and Olive (Wise) Soose.
Dollie was a homemaker and was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling at Meridian Lanes, word puzzles, reading Readers Digest, playing cards and loved to cook as she was famous for her chocolate cake.
Surviving are her children: Albert C. Krick of Worthington; Constance J. (James) Goff of Scottsboro, AL; Larry M. Krick of West Sunbury; Lynn Marie Cline of New Port Richey, FL; Wade P. (Patricia) Krick of Gibsonia; Daniel M. (Patricia) Krick of Greenville, SC; Timothy J. Krick of Butler; Mark A. Krick of Apopka, FL.
10 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
4 siblings: Patricia McDougal of Barkeyville; Larry Soose of Unionville; Francis Soose of Butler; Joe Soose of Unionville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence A. “Sonny” Krick, whom she married in June 10, 1950, he died November 1, 2011; also 2 brothers, Sherwood and Donald Soose and 1 sister, Virginia Thompson.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic, 125 Buttercup Road. The Rev. William Wuenschel, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The Bereavement Committee of St. Fidelis Parish will conduct a Prayer Service at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home.
