As Butler County Community College works to provide students with the latest technology, they are also embracing modern advancements for their Board of Trustees.
According to BC3 President Dr. Nick Neupauer, the college has purchased 20 Dell Latitude Tablets for trustees to utilize during board meetings. The tablets cost $920 each.
Although trustees have already been provided with the tablets, they will continue to utilize a paper agenda through next month’s meeting. Training will be provided in August and a hybrid meeting is planned for September with both paper and electronic content before the first paper-free meeting in October.
In addition to saving paper and time, the new tablets will allow for the most up-to-date information as well as greater flexibility when changes are needed to the agenda or reports.
