Do you have a camp up north? The state is holding a series of public meetings this month regarding state forest districts.
Department of Conservation and Natural Resources spokesman Terry Brady says the meetings will give people the opportunity to comment on and ask questions about state forests.
“If you have a camp somewhere, come to a meeting and tell us ‘We like this about the roads, we don’t like this about..whatever,'” Brady said. ” All these comments will then be put together and spearhead how the state manages its 20 forest districts.”
Each meeting will focus on the specifics of the Bureau of Forestry’s comprehensive management plan as it relates to each of the state’s 20 forest districts.
The times and locations of the meetings is online.
