The summer programming at Butler County-owned Alameda Park in Butler Township continues this week.
On Monday, those looking for a workout can take part in ‘Fitness in the Park’ at the Carousel Shelter. Instructors will teach yoga at 5:45 p.m. followed by Zumba at 7 p.m. The cost is $5 per class or $8 for both.
Also on Monday, the free “Movies in the Park” series begin at 8:30pm at the Masonic Shelter. The movie “Beauty and the Beast” will be shown, and guests will receive free popcorn.
The Free Family Summer Concert Series rolls on this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. with the Rock Jazz Trio at the Odd Fellows Gazebo.
On Thursday, the Free Outdoor Discovery Series begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Carousel Shelter. This week’s presentation will be Specialty Outdoors – Owls & Birds.
Also on Thursday, a program geared for children 6 and under will be held. ‘Alameda Story Adventures’ is free weekly storytelling from 11:30 a.m. until noon inside the Rotary Shelter. No registration is required.
