A Clarion County man wanted on hundreds of charges connected to alleged rape of a child has been apprehended in Florida.
According to Clarion County State Police, 46-year-old Garrick Bloom was taken in late Thursday morning (2/7) by U.S. Marshalls in Tallahassee, Florida.
A total of nearly 900 charges were filed against Bloom last month including over 200 felony charges of rape of a child. Bloom is accused of beginning to assault a 5-year-old boy in 2007 and continuing for the next several years.
The PSP Fugitive Task Force assisted in locating Bloom at a homeless shelter. He is now in custody in Florida awaiting transport to Pennsylvania to face those changes.
