Wayne Walliser, 75 of Butler passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 in Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler.
He was born in Bellevue to the late Leonard C. and Edythe (Kitzman) Walliser. He worked for AK Steel in Butler retiring in 2003. Wayne married his wife of 52 years Judith Wick Walliser on December 23, 1966.
Wayne was a 1962 graduate of North Hills High School, he then attended IUP graduating with a degree in music education. He was known for singing with the Notables Barber Shop Chorus also playing piano and the organ. He was the past exalted ruler of the Butler Elks 170. Being a proud Eagle Scout and being awarded the God and Country award, he also was the former assistant scout master of Boy Scout Troup 16,
Besides his wife Judy, Wayne is survived by his two Sons Christopher and Charles Walliser both of Butler. One sister, Judith Stack of Florida; one Sister-in-Law Nancy Wick and her husband Maurice Warner.
Besides his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by one sister Janice Lappe
Everyone is invited to a Celebration of Wayne’s life on April 7, 2019, at 2:00p.m. in the Butler Elks, 80 Kaufman Drive, Butler PA 16001.
