An initiative begins today to help provide food to students in the AC Valley School District.
With their summer vacation officially underway, the district is partnering with Chapel on the Hill to provide meals for families while school is out.
The free meals will be offered every Wednesday in June from 10 a.m. to noon at the elementary school.
The program is first-come, first-serve for families in need.
