The Pennsylvania Attorney General is alerting residents who took prescriptions from a couple of drug makers that they could be eligible for settlement money.
Pennsylvania has joined a multistate coalition with a nearly $18 million settlement with the generic drug manufacturers Lannett Company, Inc. and Bausch Health. These manufacturers are accused of inflating prices and restricting competition between May of 2009 and December 2019.
Those who purchased any drugs from these two pharmaceutical companies during that time are asked to check a list of generic prescription drugs with the Attorney Generals office.
Anyone who believes they could be eligible is asked to call the toll-free number 1-866-290-0182 to file a claim.
