Alexander J. Nagy, Jr., 87, of Butler, peacefully passed away Monday, April 6, 2026, at Trinity Living Center in Grove City.
Born June 21, 1938, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Alexander J. Nagy, Sr. and Frances Mohar Nagy.
Al was employed for many years as a salesman at Trostle Oldsmobile Toyota Dodge Jeep and its successor, Diehl Automotive.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Judith Lafferty Nagy, whom he married Sept. 3, 1966; two loving children, Laura Nagy, of McKees Rocks, Pa., and Eric Nagy and his wife, Michele, of Butler; five grandchildren, Taylor Fennell and her husband, Jordan, Logan Nagy and his fiancée, Angela DeAngelis, Krystal Funovits and her husband, Michael, and Braden Myers and Blake Myers; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dolores Dinning.
Funeral arrangements are private and entrusted to the care of Martin Funeral Home South Side, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
