Alice B. Sarvey, 83, of Butler passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026. She was born in Pittsburgh on May 22, 1943, to the late Charles Grounds II and Agnes Ciz.
Alice was known for being loving, kind, generous, strong willed and faithful. She loved to cook and decorate cakes. Alice enjoyed going on road trips, gardening, painting ceramics and crocheting.
Alice was the beloved wife of the late Silas Sarvey, whom she married on May 21, 1959; mother of Brenda L. (John) Wallace and Christine L. (Robert) Young; sister of Charles Grounds III; grandmother of Amanda Whipkey, Lisa (Barry) Morrison, Faith (Michael) Tebay, John Wallace, Tyler (Brittany) Young, Allison (Cody) Bates, Kelly and Jennifer Sarvey; great grandmother of 15.
Along with her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by her son, Carl (Rhonda) Wayne, her sister, Marylou McClimans, and her son-in-law, John.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 5-7 PM at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD. BUTLER, PA 16001. WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately.
