Barbara “Barb” L. Briggs, 67, of Butler, formerly of Cabot & Saxonburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, with family at her side.
Born on January 31, 1958, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Donald A. and Frances G. Briggs. Barb was a 1976 graduate of Knoch High School and a 1980 graduate of Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA.
Barb was employed as an Executive Administrative Assistant beginning her career in Denver, Colorado and eventually returning to the Pittsburgh area where she worked with various companies and organizations, completing her career with Cabot Methodist Church.
Barb is survived by two brothers, Scott (Susan) Briggs, and Robert (Kathie) Briggs. Her niece Kristi (Ryan) Perry, and four nephews; Andrew (Dana) Briggs, Wesley (Brooke) Briggs, Rob (Jenn) Briggs, and Nick (Kyilah Jones) Briggs. She is also survived by seven grandnieces & nephews and a number of cousins.
