Barbara “Luann” Smith

Barbara “Luann” Smith, 71, of Butler passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025. She was born in Butler on March 20, 1954, to the late Evan and Edna (Conner) Delaney. Barbara graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1972. She loved her dogs, birds, flowers, plants, and anything that would let her be creative, like painting, wallpapering, and decorating. Barbara had a strong Christian faith and enjoyed reading her Bible. Mother of JJ (Brandi) Smith and Erinn Smith; sister of Patty Divans and Gary Delaney; grandmother of Denon Smith; Barbara is also survived by her partner of 28 years, Patrick Kemery; a number of nieces and nephews, and her previous husband, Walter Smith.
