With many local students looking forward to the start of a new school year later this month, Butler County Community College is announcing that their College Within the High School program is expanding this fall.
BC3 says the program will debut next month at Freeport, Knoch and Moniteau with three-credit courses instructed during the regular school day available for $225 each.
Sophomores through seniors with a minimum grade-point average of 2.75 are eligible for the dual-enrollment program of courses instructed at their high school or learning center.
This nearly 30-year-old program has already been available to students at Butler, Karns City, Mars, Portersville Christian, and Seneca Valley with Slippery Rock High School added last year.
