Slippery Rock University is hosting an evening with a best-selling author later this week.
The annual Common Read event sponsored by the SRU English Department will take place 7 p.m. Thursday in the Smith Student Center Ballroom.
More than 1,000 SRU students have been assigned to read “The 57 Bus” by Dashka Slater this year. The evening will include Slater reading an excerpt from her best-selling true crime narrative as well as answering questions and signing copies afterwards.
The public is invited to attend this free gathering.
