Blanche Louise Covert, 87, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on December 19, 1937, in Chicora, PA, to the late Clair T. and June G. (Gold) Covert.
Blanche graduated from Butler High School in 1956. She worked for G.C. Murphy Company, L.C.R. Restaurant, D&K Store (Butler), and most recently the Giant Eagle at Moraine Point Plaza as a Deli Worker, until retiring. Blanch was a lifetime member of North Butler Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed watching TV, completing word searches, reading the newspaper, going out to eat with her friends, as well as spending time with her loving family.
Blanche is survived by her daughter, Sherry A. Covert; her granddaughter, Brittany L.
(Josh Altman) Rybarick; her niece, Pamela Neff; her one great-niece; her five great-nephews; as well as several great-great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Blanche was preceded in death by her two sisters, Nancy L. Herman and Hazel M. Craig; as well as her brother, Raymond L. Covert.
Per Blanche’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.
