A Boyers man is recovering following a crash that occurred late last week in Marion Township.
According to the State Police in Butler, 48-year-old Samuel Hinds was traveling on Route 58 (Eau Claire Road) just before 1 a.m. on Friday when he swerved his truck to avoid striking a deer.
Authorities say that Hinds then left the road and struck a tree before coming to a final stop overturned back on the roadway.
Hinds was wearing a seatbelt but suffered unknown minor injuries and was taken to the Grove City Medical Center for treatment.
The truck had to be towed and Hinds will not be charged.
