Another Butler Area School District employee has once again been given a state award for the impact they make on students.
Kimberly Lokhaiser is one of two people in the Commonwealth to be honored with the RISE Award this year.
Lokhaiser has worked as a bus driver and a paraprofessional at the intermediate high school for 32 years.
Lokhaiser was nominated by her colleagues at the Center Township Elementary School and is the second person from the Butler Area School District to receive the distinction in the last two years.
