City residents and travelers should be aware of upcoming work on city-owned parking lots.
Thursday night Council approved entering into an agreement with Grossman Construction in the amount of just over $191,000 to repair a retaining wall at the Diamond Street parking lot.
The lower of two bids received, this work near McKean Street needs to be completed before surface work can begin and could disrupt some parking and travel in that area.
This is part of the City’s long range plan for resurfacing parking lots which includes work done at the Locust Street Burger Hut lot from September 2nd to 19th, the North Street City Building lot from September 19th to the 29th, and the West Diamond lot from September 29th through October 15th.
