The Butler Area Public Library continues to present activities and programs for all ages this weekend.
A book talk and signing is planned for tomorrow (Saturday) from 11 to 11:30 a.m. in the Children’s Department. Local author Cecilia Overby Tomko will discuss her inspirational children’s novel Morrie the Vivaq, which teaches young readers the fascinating history of beautiful Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and no registration is necessary.
Also on Saturday, from 1 to 2 p.m. also in the Children’s Department, kids in kindergarten through 4th grade will be able to make customized keychains. All supplies are provided and no registration is required.
