30 middle School Girls got the experience of a life time with XTO Energy getting a first-hand experience on what it may be like to be an engineer.
Employees from XTO Energy hosted girls from Butler Intermediate High School on Tuesday at their Warrendale office for their “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day.”
Students participated in experiments such as “Marble Roller Coaster” to see which who could keep a marble rolling the longest. They also built a “leaning Tower of Pasta” with pasta, marshmallows, and Styrofoam. Once done all the experiments the creations were put to the test.
