With the school year complete, Butler Senior High School construction crews are pushing to finish work on the classroom expansion project.
The Butler Area School District Board of Directors heard the most recent update from the district’s construction manager at their Monday night meeting.
The general contractor is still working on painting, fitting exterior wall panels, installing ceiling tile, and removing temporary walls while the electrical contractor is working on lighting in the STEM lab and the HVAC contractor is coordinating system controls.
The Board approved a couple change orders totaling just over $16,000 involving improvements to a handrail at the STEM ramp and adjacent stair as well as a new floor drain in the Pump Room.
