A Butler woman is recovering after being attacked in Pittsburgh while trying to return home.
After finishing a day of work for her internship in the city of Pittsburgh 18-year-old Sofia Mancing was walking to her bus to return her home when she was attacked, according to our news partners at WPXI-TV.
While walking along Smithfield street in downtown Pittsburgh a woman came up to Mancing and hit her in the head with a shoe. Mancing then attempted to call police but the alleged attacker Shurontaya Festa caught up to her and continued the attack.
After the attack police were called and Festa was picked up by police.
Mancing is recovering from a broken nose and concussion. Festa was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.
