A Slippery Rock man accused of rape and false imprisonment had a charge withdrawn, but had several other held for court.
On Thursday, 34-year-old Brandon Brenner had a preliminary hearing. Brenner is accused of trapping a woman in a bathroom and raping the woman in late May.
During the preliminary hearing, the charge of false imprisonment was dismissed, but the charges of rape, simple assault, sexual assault, and indecent assault were held for court.
Brenner is currently out of prison on $100,000 bond and a formal arraignment is scheduled for July 21.
