An accident Thursday afternoon in Center Township forced the closure of a local road.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before 3 p.m. for a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Mercer and East Brewster Roads.
Crews from Unionville were among those responding to find a vehicle on fire but everyone made it out. Two motorists did require medical attention.
A portion of Mercer Road between Route 8 and North Duffy Road needed to be shut down for a time to allow crews to clear the scene.
