It’s another day of hot weather.
Temperatures are expected to reach the low 90s, with the National Weather Service saying the heat index could reach the upper 90s.
Central Electric Cooperative also issued a “Beat The Peak” alert for the day.
Customers are asked to make small adjustments in how you use electricity during the peak hours of 1-7 p.m. That can be done by shifting the use of items like dehumidifiers, pool pumps, and other electrical items outside of those peak hours.
